{"id":271103,"date":"2022-02-23T17:42:11","date_gmt":"2022-02-23T13:42:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abisoman.com\/broadcaster\/?p=271103"},"modified":"2022-02-23T17:42:11","modified_gmt":"2022-02-23T13:42:11","slug":"grade-9-english-5","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abisoman.com\/broadcaster\/2022\/02\/23\/grade-9-english-5\/","title":{"rendered":"Grade 9 English"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Students have continued with their inquiry into voices from the past, which is an interdisciplinary unit with Individuals and Societies. \u00a0Over the past three weeks we have identified the conventions of historical movies and applied those to the film \u2018100 days\u2019 which deals with the genocide in Rwanda. \u00a0Students discussed camera angles, incidental music, the story that concentrated on one person and the emotional impact of certain scenes. Students then investigated fiction and non-fiction writing to find out how language conveys ideas and emotions.
