Students have been completing the Bias and Propaganda unit. \u00a0They finished reading \u2018Animal Farm\u2019 and compared the book to the films made in 1956 and 1999. \u00a0 Students have just completed the final summative piece in which they analyzed the types and usage of propaganda found in the novel. \u00a0They also created their own propaganda item, based on the text. \u00a0 Next week we start the third unit. \u00a0This will be an interdisciplinary unit with Individuals and Societies entitled Voices from History. \u00a0We will be looking at the literature surrounding certain important events in history.<\/p>\n
