An internal examination, the IOC stands for &#8220;Individual Oral Commentary.&#8221;  Students are given an extract from one of the two or three texts they&#8217;ve read: <em>1984, Macbeth and The Road <em>(HL only).  Upon receiving the extract, they have 20 minutes to plan a response, then 10 minutes to deliver their commentary, followed by 5 minutes of questions.  The exams will begin at 8:20 in the Nurse&#8217;s room, so if you&#8217;re by the front of the school please be aware.
