Our central idea is &#8216;Manipulating materials can have a positive or negative effect on a society and the environment&#8217;.<br \/>\nWe experimented with oil and water.  Mixing it together then putting in a feather to see how oil can effect bird life.  We are investigating biodegradable and non-biodegradable materials . We have measured out an area and placed different types of materials in it.  Each week we will observe the changes taking place.
