This week we have begun our inquiry into the human body with learning about the parts of our head. While watching a video clip about this part of our body, we each drew a head from our perspectives. It was amazing to see that each child came up with a very different representation of a head. Every one of them was different and unique like human beings. After completing our drawings, we talked about how these body parts help us. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have begun to do early morning fitness to the song Fitness Rap. We checked how our heart beat changed after exercising. The children realized that it was a good idea to drink water afterwards. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

They were also exposed to another form of exercise which is a form of visual arts: DANCE?. They first danced along with a professional choreographed song. Then, they created their own dance moves for the same song and responded to the rhythm in their own way. At the end of this engagement, we came to a conclusion that it is good to exercise. Exercising can be fun and it makes us happy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
