We have had a busy and successful few weeks.<\/p>\n

in English Language and Literature we have been investigation different types of myth and student have just completed their first summative assessment task.  In this, they investigated a myth; either about fire, flood, hero or heroine.  They told the story and linked to myth conventions.  They made a slide show.  Next week we will investigate modern myths and decide whether these are similar to ancient myths.  Students will complete the unit by creating their own myth.

In Individuals and Societies we completed timelines where we mixed personal, national and international events.  We then started our Introduction to Geography in which we are looking at maps.  We have studied about scale, grid coordinates, symbols and direction.  Eventually students will create their own maps. \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
