The library feels like such a happy place when students are here!<\/p>\n<p>K1 and K2 students met one of our new library bookworms, &#8220;Dylan&#8221;, for the first time. They enjoyed reading\u00a0 &#8220;<strong>Brown Bear, Brown Bear&#8221;<\/strong> by Eric Carle, and singing about the colors with &#8220;I Can Sing a Rainbow&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Grade 1 students read <strong>&#8220;Giraffes Can&#8217;t Dance&#8221;<\/strong> by Giles Andreae and also met &#8220;Dylan&#8221; and Dylan&#8217;s friend &#8220;Quinn&#8221;, our two new library bookworms! They enjoyed reading some books on their own as well.<\/p>\n<p>Grade 2 students enjoyed <strong>&#8220;Rosie&#8217;s Walk&#8221;<\/strong> by Pat Hutchins and moving around practicing the direction vocabulary we learned from the book. Boy, that fox was sneaky wasn&#8217;t he??<\/p>\n<p>Grade 3 students\u00a0 read <strong>&#8220;Rosie Revere, Engineer&#8221;<\/strong> by Andrea Beatty, and brainstormed Rosie&#8217;s characteristics.<\/p>\n<p>Grade 4 and Grade 6 read <strong>&#8220;The Cat Man of Aleppo&#8221;<\/strong> by Irene Latham, and answer and asked questions as a group.<\/p>\n<p>Grades 3-6 all learned how to access and use the library homepage. They can now request books from the library.
