The DP course on Applications and Interpretation is grounded in practical reality. Hence the emphasis on measurements and its practical application. There is a clear connection of using Maths to solve practical problems &#8211; which provides a refreshing and meaningful approach for those not so interested in more theoretical Maths!<\/p>\n<p>However, the course work is intense and daily practice of work\u00a0 covered should become the norm for all DP students. I cannot emphasize this enough &#8211; this may be in the form of homework or self-study.<\/p>\n<p>As we go through the year, students should also keep a journal to reflect on learning and to ask possible &#8220;I wonder&#8230;&#8221; questions which will create material for the Internal Assessment paper. (more about this in later posts)<\/p>\n<p>I look forward to working with our current students.
