Students watched a YouTube video demonstrating effective product sketching techniques and then evaluated the teachers sketch based on the techniques shown in the video. The aim is to showcase their learning through an academic year by capturing evidence of their learning using their own google site. This week they completed task 5, creating a pasta sauce. As part of the challenge they are required to consider how they can put their twist on recipes to tease the sensors. As they can not be judged on taste, they are judged on complexity of cooking process, aesthetics, using different textures, sensory exploration and originality. It\u2019s been a fun but practical unit for students learning invaluable life skills. We finished off the week capturing the process of making a cup of tea using a gantt chart.
