This is an exciting moment as they begin to work towards public performances!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Being a band member means that students have to take the agency and practice their <em>own<\/em> instrument so that the <em>whole band<\/em> improves. To help with this process, students in the Grade 5 band completed a playing test this week. They performed a piece for Mr. McBirnie in order to show their developing skills and knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was a wonderful time to hear students play and to hear the progress that they\u2019ve been making due to their practicing! Make sure you ask them how they did!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s also worth realised how much good playing music is for our brains!
