Grade 7, 8 and 9 have been hard at work in the workshop whilst grade 10 have been focusing on their specifications for their products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Grade 7s bird products are taking shape. We have a mix of houses, feeders and resting places using a range of materials ranging from perspex, wood, and rope. They have learnt the valuable lesson of measuring twice , cut once! While not perfect we are aiming for functional products which we will put around the school campus.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Grade 8 have completed theirs pavers. The unit \u2018ATL\u2019 was centered on metaphors and students have expressed a metaphor for who they are on their pavers. Practically, the next step will be to create a pathway from LC2 to the workshop. In class we begun to evaluate the pavers, to see how successful they have been turning theirs ideas into reality.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Grade 9s are mostly complete with their prototype product. We have a range of products from a goat watering bottle, to art paint brush holder, woodwork table to a music mallet holder. it just requires some last minute finishing and we look forward to seeing them being used in school.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
