We are focusing in particular on how gender affects the different characters&#8217; behaviour, and what society expects of young men and women in the sixteenth century and today. This week, we considered the attitudes which lead to a violent gang fight in the streets of Verona and what we understand by the term <strong>masculinity<\/strong>. The students made some very thought provoking observations and drew many parallels between a very old play and today&#8217;s social issues and problems. Pictured is Tybalt Capulet, who declares <em>Peace?
