As our anti-hero, Petruchio, continues his psychological campaign to &#8216;kill his wife with kindness,&#8217; we have conducted a close analysis of his language and the moral implications of his actions. Can he be justified in his approach? Can we judge a sixteenth century man by modern standards? Grade 11 formed their own (very strong!) views on this.<\/p>\n<p>To tackle the task from a different angle, the students were challenged to empathize with Petruchio through a series of hot-seating exercises, forcing them to consider a range of perspectives.
