In Grade 3 this week we continued to explore biographies and autobiographies. As we pondered the facts we learned about Mahatma Gandhi and Helen Keller\u2019s lives, we began to identify which facts were the most important. It is inspiring reading about how other people overcome the challenges they are faced with. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We discovered that some of our parents liked reading biographies and autobiographies too. There are so many interesting people to read about and be inspired by. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pratiksha felt inspired to write her own autobiography which we loved listening to. Even though some of us know Pratiksha very well, we learned some new information about her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We took care in publishing our own Two Word Biography poems and drawing a self-portrait to accompany it. These poems are another way to express ourselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    We have been trying our best in some of the beginning of the year spelling and math assessments. Learning to relax by playing and taking breaks away from screens is important too. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
