We have been looking at some of the artworks of Vincent Van Gogh this week. Before finding out about him and his life, we looked closely at a few of his famous artworks and wrote our responses to them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some of us also made our own version of Van Gogh\u2019s chair painting. We chose a chair at home that we thought was interesting and we placed an item of ours on the seat of the chair to sketch, just as Van Gogh did. We outlined some of the edges in our still life artwork, as Van Gogh did, too. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have enjoyed several Roald Dahl stories this year and over the last couple of weeks we have had time for one more before the end of the school year. We are reading \u2018Fantastic Mr Fox\u2019. He is a rather sneaky Fox ? and he has annoyed some farmers by stealing some of their poultry. ? ? Some of us imagined we were the irate farmers and created a Wanted poster for Mr Fox. If you haven\u2019t read the story, we recommend it to you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
