For some reason this post didn\u2019t post last week, so I will add it to this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We started a new UOI about science. We introduced 3 experiments. Making Playdough, making edible slime and baking pancakes. The students were asked to look and compare the texture of the ingredients. Looking at what happens when you mix them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We listened to the story : \u201cWe\u2019re going on a bear hunt\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ahmed was acting out the story , looking for a big bear <\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We also listened to the story: \u201c The mouse, the red ripe strawberry and the big hungry bear. We learned a new word, disguise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We looked at the meaning of the word \u201c disguise\u201d. Here Aisha is disguising herself<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Ahmed is finding creative ways to practice his name. He is also doing some dancing<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Tarteel is making music and strengthening her fine motor skills by playing fingerboard<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Week 32<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We continued with some very exciting experiments and had lots of fun through our stories<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aisha did the egg falling experiment and got it right!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Ahmed also had success with the egg falling into the glass. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Mohammed melted old crayons and made new fun shape crayons<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Aisha used her senses to feel and guess what is inside the wrapping<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Hoor explained how to make slime. She explained all the steps and gave clear instructions.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Aisha explored adding different materials to her paint and see what happens<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Azzan made 3 beautiful pictures and used English to present them <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
