We had a beautiful guided tour of the grand mosque. The students had a peaceful time at the end of our two hours there to sit in the shade with a nice breeze and sketch the beautiful building. We then headed to Riyam Park for a play, followed by a strenuous 2 hour hike of 4.8 km through mountwins and wadis. We ended up for some shopping at the incredibly busy Souq which was hosting 2 massive cruise ships. The kids did some great bargaining! We ended the day at an outdoor restaurant having delicious shawarma.
