The boys game was up first and they came up against a red hot SIS team. After a quick start from SIS the boys gradually clawed their way back into the game to be down by 4 points near half time and 6 at the changeover. SIS started the second half on fire and rarely missed a basket as they took the the game away from our boys to record a big win and become the 2019 Champions. For ABIS Julio scored 22 points, Jule’s 16 and Newton 9. The girl’s game was highlighted by great teamwork and passing as the girls took control after the fist quarter and held a strong lead going to half time. Sohar Park threatened to come back in the second half but some great baskets from Sanna, Lizzie and Lilli ensured a strong win to ABIS. Well done to all the girls who were well led by Emma controlling the play, strong rebounding by Greta and Emma V and an excellent 22 points from Sanna.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
Congratulations to both our girls and boys teams for making the finals of their respective basketball competitions.
