{"id":1760,"date":"2012-01-08T15:54:09","date_gmt":"2012-01-08T11:54:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/abisoman.com\/broadcaster\/?p=1760"},"modified":"2012-01-08T17:02:19","modified_gmt":"2012-01-08T13:02:19","slug":"make-that-water-go","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abisoman.com\/broadcaster\/2012\/01\/08\/make-that-water-go\/","title":{"rendered":"Make that Water GO!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Students in Grade Four spent this morning working on an experiment designed to investigate whether changing pressure or height altered water flow.\u00a0 They filled a bottle with water and punched holes at regular intervals along the bottle.\u00a0 They then looked at whether the height of the hole altered the flow.\u00a0 Some enterprising individuals also checked to see if squeezing the bottle made a difference.\u00a0 The students noticed that yes, there was indeed a difference in how far the water went.\u00a0 This led to a discussion on how water flow was most easily harnessed in dams, and how water pressure could create faster and more dangerous rivers.\u00a0 It was a busy morning with students highly engaged&#8230;
