The class watched a number of video clips on topics such as Plato&#8217;s Cave allegory, where the boundary lies between dreams and reality and the idea that we are all existing inside an alien super computer program.<\/p>\n<p>Most of the students assured me we are all real and that such frivolous ideas were obviously absurd; there were a few vaguely furrowed brows by the end of class today though.<\/p>\n<p>Assuming the lesson actually happened at all, of course&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Or are we part of a very complex computer simulation?
