{"id":170596,"date":"2019-05-16T12:06:35","date_gmt":"2019-05-16T08:06:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/abisoman.com\/broadcaster\/?p=170596"},"modified":"2024-02-19T15:25:39","modified_gmt":"2024-02-19T11:25:39","slug":"abis-community-iftaar-next-week-may-22nd","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abisoman.com\/broadcaster\/2019\/05\/16\/abis-community-iftaar-next-week-may-22nd\/","title":{"rendered":"ABIS Community Iftaar Next Week: May 22nd"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Although we are coming to the end of this school year, the Student Council has organized one last event:&nbsp;<strong>The ABIS&nbsp;Community&nbsp;Iftar<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since Ramadan is a chance for families to gather together, it only seems fitting that our ABIS family take the opportunity to come together for a celebration before the end of this school year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, this gives us a chance to celebrate the culture of our home country, Oman, and experience a unique tradition as an ABIS&nbsp;community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;Community&nbsp;Iftar&nbsp;will take place in&nbsp;<strong>Mazoon&nbsp;<\/strong>on&nbsp;<strong>Wednesday, the 22nd of May.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Doors will be open from 6:20pm<\/strong>, with a&nbsp;<strong>pre-Iftaar&nbsp;talk about Ramadan and traditions during Ramadan&nbsp;at 6:40<\/strong>.&nbsp;<strong>The meal will start after the Athaan call<\/strong>. The evening will end around 8pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Those attending are asked to&nbsp;<strong>bring a dish to share<\/strong>.
