Also, help us practice telling time at home. You can help us by:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; practice skip counting by 5&#8217;s, it helps us read a clock<br \/>\n&#8211; emphasize  a.m. and p.m. when telling time, talk about why you use each one<br \/>\n&#8211; write more time stories, we had fun with this activity<br \/>\n&#8211; talk about family schedules ( &#8221; At 6pm we will go shopping&#8230;&#8221;) so we get used to talking about time<br \/>\n   in our everyday life<br \/>\n&#8211; click <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nzmaths.co.nz\/maths-our-house-clocks\">here<\/a> for more strategies<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are practicing and reviewing telling time.
