This week, it has been a pleasure to watch G9 students stand up and talk about global issues, as well as share some ways to solve them. Following a deep dive into the research of perspectives on these issues, the G9s created products including TED Talks, Podcasts, and News Magazine articles. To give you a taste of the challenging issues the G9s have been tackling, have a look through their topics below:<\/p>\n

Greta and Lizzy offered a balanced view of the impacts on nations who receive immigrants.<\/p>\n

Noaf put us in the shoes of a migrant trying to find a job and make his \/ her way in the world.<\/p>\n

Zyrelle made us all think about the extent of children who have limited access to quality eduction.<\/p>\n

Jaira focused us on the rights of women who have been violated.<\/p>\n

Mayar and Aufa explored the insanity defense to criminal cases and how to avoid it from being exploited.<\/p>\n

Tay’a and Annelies looked at the difficult question of native workers rights vs. immigrant workers rights and how to balance the job market in a fair way.<\/p>\n

Sulaiman and Abdullah wrote a news report about the overall problem of lack of employment opportunities, worldwide.<\/p>\n

Wi-aam brought to question, what does a country do when its population has exceeded its sustainable limits, something we should all be concerned about.<\/p>\n

The G9s did a fantastic job overall with this project and they are well prepared to begin their course work following Oman Week. Great job G9s!!<\/p>\n
