{"id":159891,"date":"2018-10-11T06:09:38","date_gmt":"2018-10-11T02:09:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/abisoman.com\/broadcaster\/?p=159891"},"modified":"2021-09-09T18:32:26","modified_gmt":"2021-09-09T14:32:26","slug":"grade-5s-guest-speaker","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abisoman.com\/broadcaster\/2018\/10\/11\/grade-5s-guest-speaker\/","title":{"rendered":"Grade 5\u2019s Guest Speaker"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Grade five Unit of Inquiry has the central idea: <strong>People&#8217;s quality of life is different when their rights are respected.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As part of our discussions we were fortunate to have Ella van den Heuvel, a United Nations women&#8217;s rights specialist, come and speak to us.<\/p>\n<p>Ella is our Ren\u00e9e&#8217;s mum, and it was wonderful to hear about her experiences with the Dutch Army and the work she does for the United Nations.<\/p>\n<p>One of her roles is to ensure women are included in the decision making process in local communities.
