Grade 9 this week were looking at Electrolysis<\/strong>.We started by discussing electric current carriers(electrons<\/strong>) in conductors<\/strong> such as metals and (ions)<\/strong> in acqueous solutions<\/strong> such copper sulfate and sodium chloride.Students were also able to test for conductors of electricity and we carried out electrolysis of copper sulphate to sum up the sub-topic.<\/p>\n

Grade 10 this week worked on Energy flow in Ecosystems<\/strong>. Students also had to research and present to the class on Human influence on Ecosystems<\/strong> with discussions revolving around: deforestation,pollution,conservation of resources,carbon cycle,global warming and sustainable practices.<\/p>\n
