On the 24th of January, the current 7th graders had an introduction session about the Middle Years Programme (MYP) with Ms. Ann Gaillard in her capacity as MYP Coordinator. The Grade 7 students discussed the benefits of being able to transition from one IB programme to another; connect their experiences with the Primary Years Programme with what they can expect from the MYP; and how the MYP could prepare them for the academic challenge of the Diploma Programme.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Students were eager to find out about their timetable, subject choices, and activities within and outside the MYP.\u00a0 Additional conversations with the Grade 7s as well as the Grade 6s will take place in the next few weeks in order to clarify some of the aspects of the MYP that are still in the students\u2019 mind. Parents are encouraged to discuss with their children how the MYP empowers students to develop their talents, learn for understanding, and become more internationally-minded.<\/p>\n
