The students will be performing an Omani Dance from Al Batinah and another dance from Nother country. While still 6 weeks away, the students will have some clothing requirements and I want you to have time to search for appropriate attire if necessary.  Note that clothing is kept simple to help you.<\/p>\n<p>The K3 students are performing a version of a Bihu dance from India. Both boys and girls will need red teeshirts. Girls are asked to wear a colourful LONG skirt and boys white trousers or white long pants. They will be barefoot. <\/p>\n<p>The grade 1 students are performing a Square Dance popular in the US. The boys are asked to wear button up shirts and long pants: any colour but please no cargo or camofluage. Girls may wear button shirts and skirts any colour. Shoes can be any colour and must have a backstrap or be firmly laced up. No crocs please.<\/p>\n<p>The grade 2 students are performing a Sicilian Tarantella. Boys and girls are asked to wear white shirts with NO logos or coloured trim. The boys can wear long dark blue or black pants and the girls a colourful skirt to the knee. Shoes must stay on the feet as this is an active dance. <\/p>\n<p>The grade 3 students will perform a simplified Indonesian Dance. They are asked to wear blue shirts with NO LOGOS and long dark pants with no coloured trims or markings. Sneakers on the feet for both girls and boys. <\/p>\n<p>Grade 4 students will perform an Australian Bush Waltz. The boys are asked to wear button up shirts and long pants: any colour but please no cargo or camoflage. Girls may wear button shirts and skirts any colour. Shoes can be any colour and must have a backstrap or be firmly laced up. <\/p>\n<p>Grade 5 students will perform an Ethiopian Dance. They are asked to wear white with no colours or markings. Girls are asked to wear white dresses or blouses and skirts and boys are asked to wear white long pants, trousers or white jeans and a white shirt. <\/p>\n<p>Grade 6 students will perform a Filippino Dance. The boys are asked to wear coloured trousers (not black or white) and a white shirt with NO MARKINGS. A coloured bandana is needed to tie at their necks, preferably plain in design. The girls can wear colours but must have a skirt. They can dance bare foot. <\/p>\n<p>For the Omani Dance, the boys must bring a dishdasha.  The Kumar (embroidered hat) or turban is optional. The girls will be wearing the clothing purchased and donated last year.
