Grade 6s have been working all week crafting narratives. They have been writing and revising their drafts. We have worked on adding dialogue to the stories. We have learned how to combine short choppy sentences and expand boring sentences. They have learned to add more interesting transition words…they have been busy!\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>
\nNext week they will be finishing off their stories. Students are working on typing out their drafts. Many did not know how to double-space, so we learned about that too. Editing and checking for typos will be on the agenda for next week.<\/p>\n

 I will be out of the country getting my family visa, so Ms. Denise, Ms. Caroline, Ms. Turton and Ms. Eletia will be covering all of my homeroom classes and keeping the students busy.<\/p>\n

National Day celebrations are also coming up here at ABIS. The ECC is decorated! We will have festivities at the school on Sunday November 19th.<\/p>\n
