Welcome to grade 3.<\/p>\n
Here\u2019s a little bit about myself. My path to the classroom took a slightly unconventional route. After completing my B.A in the United States (in International Relations), I worked \u00a0as a management consultant in the US and Canada for a number of years. While I learned a lot as a management consultant, I had long harboured an interest in teaching. This led me to do some volunteer teaching at a local primary school in Ottawa, Canada. Realizing that teaching was a lot closer to my heart than the business world, I chose to retrain as a primary teacher in New Zealand. This is my fourth year at ABIS. Prior to coming to Oman I taught in Singapore, Bangladesh, New\u00a0 Zealand, Saudi Arabia New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, and of all places\u00a0 the Gaza strip.
