Iftar<\/b><\/p>\n
As Ramadan is a chance for families to gather together it seems fitting that our ABIS family come together to celebrate the culture of our home country.<\/b><\/p>\n
A community Iftar will take pace in the gym on June 13th, tomorrow. Doors will open from 6:30pm with a pre-Iftar lecture about Ramadan and Omani traditions during Ramadan starting at 6:45. The meal will begin after the Athaan call. The evening will end around 8pm.<\/b><\/p>\n
Those attending are asked to bring a dish to share. As we don’t want everybody to bring the same dish, we have organised food categories for different people based on surnames:<\/b><\/p>\n
Families with surnames from A-H should bring fruits\/vegetables.<\/b><\/p>\n
Families with surnames from I – Q should bring something savory.<\/b><\/p>\n
Families with surnames from O – Z should bring something sweet.<\/b><\/p>\n
