The Student Council is pleased to host an ABIS Community Iftaar next Monday, June 13th. \u00a0The doors will open at 6:30PM, with a pre-meal lecture about Ramadan and its traditions beginning around 6:45PM. After the lecture, we will wait to hear the athaan before we begin to eat. \u00a0After the meal, we will participate in another typical activity – come to find out what it is!<\/p>\n

Families are asked to bring a mat\/or pillows to sit on. \u00a0There will be water available, but if you wish for something else to drink (non-alcoholic, of course!), please bring it with you. \u00a0Also, in order to share the responsibility of providing dinner, we are asking our families to bring certain items of food to share:<\/p>\n

Families with surnames from A to H, please bring fruits or vegetables to share.<\/p>\n

Families with surnames from I to Q, please bring something savory to share.<\/p>\n

Families with surnames from R to Z, please bring something sweet to share.<\/p>\n
