Except for those struggling to complete demanding Diploma coursework, it’s been a\u00a0good week for our\u00a0Secondary school students. We had a wonderful picnic (thank you Student Council) on Monday, which brought everyone close together following last week’s tragic event, and we ended the week together in assembly listening to a motivating speech by Nasser from Clean Up Oman. Shortly before the assembly\u00a0our under 16 boys and girls performed brilliantly against a regional\u00a0select basketball team, some of whom represent the country! Both matches were incredibly close and though they didn’t quite go our way, our students gained superb experience of handling pressure situations. Both the boys and girls nearly staged an excellent come back, so hopefully we can play these team again in the future as it is a healthy rivalry. I am pleased to say that the visiting coaches have also expressed interest in signing a few of our players. Wow!<\/p>\n
We are looking forward to the Beach Clean up Tomorrow morning and have our black sacks and gloves ready! Hope to see you there.<\/p>\n
