<\/a> During our Unit of Inquiry students are now ready to start their Summative assessments. We have learned about ecosystems in Oman and have built our understanding of biodiversity and how to maintain balance in an ecosystem. Students have chosen their topics and will all be conducting a research and action project to improve or maintain the biodiversity at school. Any resources about the wildlife in Oman will be very helpful to them, but please do not do their research for them. They are all extremely excited to bring more plants and animals to ABIS and will be presenting their ideas to Mr. Tomalin. In writing we have been practicing persuasive writing and learning how to present strong points to persuade. To help your child at home you can engaged them in a fun debate in which they need to convince or persuade you to do or not do something. <\/p>\n
