Our school’s first Breast Cancer Awareness Day is going to be on Thursday, October 31st.

In order to show ABIS’s commitment to this cause, we are encouraging secondary students (Grade 7-12) to come in wearing pink. The reason we wanted to celebrate this day is because Breast Cancer is the most commonly occurring cancer in women and the second most common cancer overall.

Furthermore, as a result of this awareness, breast cancer is being detected at an earlier and more treatable stage.

This issue is of most importance to ABIS and the Sohar community, so we hope to see secondary students and staff members wear pink in solidarity for the cause on Thursday, October 31st.
