Due to a technical glitch this post didn’t post yesterday as part of the Broadcaster so you are receiving as a Newsflash due to important content. Please read.

I hope you all had a relaxing break and have come back to school refreshed. It has been a very busy week for us with nine members from the Ministry of Education visiting the school. Overall their feedback was very positive and we look forward to receiving the written report in approximately six weeks time. Also a big thank you for all of those parents involved with speaking with members from the Ministry of Education.

Mother Tongue Monday, next Monday 11th March 8.20-8.40am.

We look forward to seeing you there if you are one of our regulars. If you are not a regular but would like to read or spend time with some students, please let me know.

Swim Gala: next Wednesday 13th, September

Inter-house Swimming Gala, 13th March, 2019 Dear Parents and Guardians,

This Wednesday, 13th of March is our Inter-House Swimming Gala and this year we have changed the programme a little to make it more efficient and comfortable for students and parents. We will run the gala in two sections with the Primary running from 9:00am to 12:45pm and the Secondary from 1:20pm to 3:20pm.

As with the Sports Day, your child(ren) should dress in a T-shirt of their house colour to wear when they are not swimming. They will also need a set of dry clothes for before (secondary) and after (primary) their swimming events.

For the Gala itself students will need:- Swim gear (no bikinis), towel, goggles, hair tie for long hair, flip flops or other, sunscreen, hat and water bottle. Swim cap and rash vest are optional. We would also like students to bring a piece of fruit each to be cut up and shared.

PROGRAMME

8:20 – 9:00am – Meet on outside field for photo shoot

9:00 – 10:45am – Warm up and Events begin( Grades 2-6)

10:45 – 11:00am – Break

11:00 – 12:45pm – Events for Grades 2 – 6

12:45 – 1:15pm – Lunch

It would be great to see as many parents attend as possible, to cheer on their children and other students in their children’s houses.
